I’ve posted a lot of photos of my travels from other places in the world and thought it was about time to pay homage to the landscape of my own home. I think where I live here on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and I feel so lucky to live here.

This particular photo series was taken at a place called Wittys Lagoon in Metchosin, not too far a drive from Victoria. Wittys Lagoon holds a very special place in my heart and this particular day when the photos were taken it was snowing, which is something that happens only a few times a year here in the south island, so it was quite a beautiful day for photographs.
