Wow. That’s the first word that I think of when I reminisce on Becca and Gavin’s Hornby Island wedding. First of all, having a wedding at a place like Sea Breeze Lodge is foolproof. With all of the guest cabins they have on the property Becca and Gavin were able to have their guests be right there by their side all weekend. The scenery at Sea Breeze, being right on the ocean, is incredible, their brand new rustic lodge is beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Now, Becca and Gavin. From the very beginning these two made me feel more like I was a guest at their wedding than their photographer. For that, I can not thank them enough as it made my time there so much more enjoyable than it already would have been.

The most wonderful thing I witnessed by spending all day with Becca and Gavin was the way they would look at each other with a little smile and seem to know exactly what the other was thinking. It was as if they were communicating telepathically- seriously. Gavin knows exactly how to make Becca laugh, and that smile of Becca’s can honestly light up an entire room. These two are the epitome of two peas in a pod.

The whole day was topped off by the thoughtful speeches given by their loved ones that had the whole room in fits of laughter or rivers of tears. What a wedding! Congratulations Becca and Gavin, and thank you for having me photograph your special day 🙂
