Kira and Mike’s wedding was a perfect example of how to make your wedding what you want it to be. It was a ‘frontyard’ garden wedding, hosted at the house Kira grew up in. Her mom is a seriously skilled gardener and has created a beautiful and unique garden that doubled as the setting for Kira and Mike to exchange their vows.

Their wedding was very laid back–cocktail party meets food festival. The most wonderful aspect was how community-based it felt. It was evident that Kira and Mike have built a very supportive community through their personal and professional lives and it was awesome to see these people come together to collectively create this wedding from the ground up–the food, the drinks, the service, the music, the works!–in such a fun and positive way.

Nothing beats overhearing the bride say: “I am having the best time ever”, more than a handful of times. What a great day it was, congratulations Kira and Mike!
