Thanks to Hannah and Andrew, who chose this quiet, little tucked away suburban beach for their Victoria BC Engagement Session, I now have another amazing location to add to my portrait roster. I didn’t even know of this beach’s existence… Hannah and Andrew chose it for their Victoria BC Engagement Session because it’s where they spent a fair bit of time together in the early days of their relationship.
These two had just recently moved back to Victoria after being away for a couple years, and they hadn’t actually been to their beach in a long time. The night before our Victoria BC Engagement Session was scheduled, Andrew decided to ride his bike over to check it out and see if it was as he remembered. A pretty cute texting conversation ensued… between Andrew to Hannah, and then Hannah to me. Hannah was updating me on Andrew’s visit to the beach. She texted: “We always walked to this rocky cliff part that is at the end of the beach… he says it’s soooooo nice! And it’s still in the sun at this time of night!!”
I later found their beach on this Victoria Buzz list of hidden gems to check out 🙂
There are many reasons why engagement session’s are so valuable – in which I plan to write a post about soon- but it’s a wonderful opportunity to get a beautiful array of photos of you and your partner together in a very meaningful place to your relationship. As great as the selfie is, relationships need more than selfies!! 😉
I’m very excited for 2020 for Hannah and Andrew’s wedding, and thanks again you two for such a fun Victoria BC Engagement Session 🙂
